Second PINZ Consultant at work in Timor Leste’s Capacity Building Programme
In early March 2008 a second PINZ consultant joined the NZAID funded Capacity Building team working with the Ministry of Education and Culture in Timor Leste. The new role was created to assist with the development of a capacity building strategic plan for the Ministry of Education for the period 2008 through to 2012.

PINZ consultants and the team are hard at work providing guidance, training and other capacity building assistance. Work in the establishment of new national and regional offices has made good progress with analysis on training requirements for new job roles, analysis of information management system requirements and the provision of teacher resource planning all going well. A draft capacity building strategy is being refined with the Ministry and development partners and will subsequently be presented to senior Ministry of Education officials.

As the project progresses further updates will be added to the PINZ website.
