In the Interim Report recently submitted to the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Education & Sports, the team’s success in conducting training and improving training materials is highlighted. The team’s work has been received with enthusiasm by all the concerned authorities and experts, and has been officially recognised in formal meetings. The project is on target to produce technical reports on recurrent training at the district level, to submit a proposal for improving the present teacher licensing system, and to draft a comprehensive report on the 10-month in-service training programme.
